Meet the Health Care Innovators 2018

This 2018 Philadelphia Business Journal Health Care Innovators/Extraordinary Doctors awards program was dominated by the University of Pennsylvania Health System.

Penn Medicine along with six doctors from the health system are among the 25 organizations and individuals selected for recognition.

Also receiving multiple recognitions is Einstein Healthcare Network, which had three physicians selected as Extraordinary Doctors. This year’s innovators range from small companies like Keriton, a medical technology startup that is helping hospital neonatal intensive care units, to Adaptimmune, an immunotherapy company developing new ways to battle cancer.
