HR Tech Company Phenom People Raises $22M Series B, Plans to Hire 150
HR tech company Phenom People raised $22 million in a Series B funding round, the Ambler-based company announced Thursday, bringing its total funding to $31 million to date.
The new round, led by AXA Venture Partners with existing investors Sierra Venture, Sigma Prime Venture and Omidyar Ventures also joining in, will fuel global expansion of Phenom People’s sales, marketing and product team and the hiring of about 150 people this year, Co-founder and Chief People Officer Brad Goldoor said.
The company, which creates software that helps HR representatives better market positions and manage the hiring process, employs about 300 people worldwide now; it was at about 90 when it raised its $10 million Series A two and a half years ago.
Phenom People’s growth over those years got the company’s Talent Relationship Marketing (TRM) platform to a point where it’s capable of handling major enterprise clients like Microsoft, Southwest Airlines, L’Oreal and Toll Brothers, along with other smaller companies.
“We got the product into a more stable place, the infrastructure, the core base of employees, and got where we need to get to to be able to scale,” Goldoor said.
