Why PACT’s new rebranding isn’t really about PACT
After six years of working to better position the region’s high-tech ecosystem for success PACT, the Philadelphia Alliance for Capital Technologies, is finally giving its own brand some self care.
The group, affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia, officially unveiled the products of its complete brand re-boot on Friday morning.
The rebranding, which includes a redesigned logo and website aims to better the organization, and by extension, its ability to promote and accelerate entrepreneurial growth in the region.
“We were a technology organization without an updated website, we’re kind of the last ones to focus on ourselves,” said Dean Miller, president and CEO of PACT.
The rebranding effort stemmed from a strategic planning process launched earlier this year and the new platform came together with the work of local companies LiquidHub and Zer0 to 5ive, the latter of which handled PACT’s initial launch in 2010 following a merger of the Eastern Technology Council and the Mid-Atlantic Capital Alliance.
