Former Pet360 CEO Brock Weatherup is the new president of Philly Startup Leaders

The angel investor will take over for Guru CEO Rick Nucci.

Say hello to the next Philly Startup Leaders president: Brock Weatherup.

Weatherup, 43, of Wayne, Pa., will lead the volunteer-run founder network, which is largely seen as the heartbeat of the city’s tech entrepreneurship scene. He’s yet another PSL president who has a big exit on his resume: He sold his MontCo company Pet360 to PetSmart for more than $130 million last fall. (PSL’s two past presidents include Rick Nucci and Bob Moul, both of whom were part of Boomi’s exit to Dell in 2010.)
